144-unit Canyon Pointe Apartments project revisited in west Spokane
$9.6 million complex similar in scope to one mulled, shelved in '07

A longtime Spokane Valley developer and contractor is dusting off plans for a 144-unit apartment complex on Sunset Hill, near Indian Canyon Golf Course, that have been on hold for nearly five years, preliminary documents on file with the city show.

The project, to be called Canyon Pointe Apartments, would include three multifamily residential structures with parking and other amenities and is valued at a total of $9.6 million, plans show.
