The Kootenai Tribe of Idaho has broken ground on a new hotel wing at the Best Western Plus Kootenai River Inn Casino & Spa, in Bonners Ferry.

The 20,800-square-foot addition will have 36 rooms, including two deluxe family suites, the tribe says in a press release about the project. The tribe declines to disclose the project cost.

The Kootenai Tribe owns the hotel-casino complex, which is located on the south bank of the Kootenai River just east of U.S. 95. Hagadone Ho...
