Hayden-based e-commerce fulfillment company Dollar Fulfillment is continuing to make room to expand with the purchase of 5 acres of land in the Bighorn Industrial Park, in Post Falls.

The newly purchased property, marks a total of 10 acres purchased by the company within the industrial park since 2019.The property is located between Hargrave and Grange avenues. The terms of the sale weren’t disclosed, but the Kootenai County Assessor’s database has the parcel valued at $253,500.

Jason Macek, owner and founder of Dollar Fulfillment, didn’t respond immediately to requests for comment.

Dollar Fulfillment is known informally as a “mini-Amazon” through which online businesses ship products to Dollar Fulfillment warehouses, where the items are stored until they are sold. Dollar Fulfillment then ships the products to the end user on behalf of its customers.

The newly purchased acreage is located immediately west of NanaMacs Clothing warehouse, at 4415 W. Hargrave.

Craig Hunter and Rob Kannapien, of Coldwell Banker Commercial Schneidmiller Realty, and Rachel Moore, with Coldwell Banker Schneidmiller, handled the transaction.

While no construction plans have been filed for the recent land acquisition, earlier plans filed with Kootenai County show the Dollar Fulfillment intends to build a warehouse on 5 acres of property the company purchased in late 2019, just east of Nana Macs Clothing.

Those plans include a 51,000-square-foot warehouse.

Permit applications show ML Architect & Associates Inc., of Post Falls, is designing the structure, which will be built by Rybeck Construction Inc., of Coeur d’Alene.

Dollar Fulfillment currently occupies about 20,000 square feet of space at 10450 N. Airport Road, in Hayden, but a listing on Coldwell Banker’s website shows that structure has been put up for sale.

The company also is leasing space at 6164 W. Seltice Way, in Post Falls.

According to weekly business magazine Inc., Dollar Fulfillment grew by nearly 355% between 2017 and 2020.

It’s ranked 1,265th on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing private companies.

Macek and his wife, Janell, launched Dollar Fulfillment from the basement of their home in Coeur d’Alene in 2008.

The company established an East Coast facility in North Carolina in 2018.
