Remodel of space projected to begin in mid-December

Evergreen Gymnastics, of Spokane, plans to remodel an 8,800-square-foot warehouse into a gymnastics center at 210 E. Montgomery in Spokane’s Logan neighborhood, according to building permit application information submitted to the city.

Gregory Ward, of Liberty Lake-based GW Contracting Services LLC, is the contractor on the project. Sandpoint, Idaho-based Back to Terra Sustainable Architecture designed it.

Tiara Racicot, owner of Evergreen Gymnastics, couldn’t be reached immediately for comment.

According to application information, the remodel for Evergreen Gymnastics will include a tumble area and an office in the north portion of the building.

Ward describes the structure as a 1950s-era concrete warehouse building that formerly was occupied by the Spokane operations of window manufacturer Renewal by Andersen LLC, which recently has moved to a larger facility.

Ward declines to disclose the value of the project. He says he expects the city will issue a building permit in time for construction to begin in mid-December, and he anticipates the project will be completed by March.

Evergreen Gymnastics will move from its current location at 3200 E. Trent, in the East Central neighborhood, once renovations are complete, he says.
