Improvements planned at Chateau Rive

  • Print Article

Glover Mansion Events LLC, operator of Chateau Rive at the Flour Mill, has purchased Bozzi Media’s interest in the venue.

The transaction gives Glover Mansion Events, owned by Bob Adolfson, full control of the venue.

The two companies opened Chateau Rive in 2013 as an events center with catering.

Located at 621 W. Mallon, near Riverfront Park and on the north bank of the river, the site provides a picturesque setting, says Adolfson.

The 5,000-square-foot center can seat 200 people inside and an additional 200 people on the lawn, he says, adding that he’s reconceptualizing the space with a focus updating the look, feel, and design elements.

Adolfson also says he wants to improve the sound quality in the stone building. New speakers will be brought in, as well as panels or fabric-type treatments to be adhered to the ceiling to soften the sound for events, such as concerts.

Looking to attract more corporate customers, Adolfson says Chateau Rive also will have mounted projectors and screens.

Glover Mansion Events LLC also provides catering services to the Museum of Arts & Culture and operates the Glover Mansion event venue, the Spokane Valley Events Center, and Red Rock Catering.
