Krew’s Vape Shop has opened in the 1,300-square-foot former ReCoil Vapor & Espresso space at 1718 N. Hamilton, in the Gonzaga University neighborhood.

The business is co-owned by its namesake, Krew Cunnington, along with his mother and stepfather, Lynne and Jeffrey Waybright.

While he’s new to business ownership, Cunnington says he’s been in the vapor industry for about 3 years now, having previously served as manager at ReCoil Vapor.

“It’s been a really good first three weeks,” he says. “I’ve gotten a bit creative, redesigning the inside of the space to create more of a lounge and less of a coffee shop vibe.”

Cunnington says the business is a full-service vape shop, providing a selection of e-cigarettes and other related products.

The shop space features recliners, refurbished movie theater seats, charging stations for phones or vapor products, and games. The walls also feature consignment artwork from local artists.

“We just really want this to be a fun hangout spot for customers,” he says. “We’re the only vape shop that also offers drive thru service, and that feature is really helpful for customers who are on the go or can’t bring their kids inside due to us being an age 18-plus shop.”

Cunnington says he hopes to keep growing the shop, adding new products and staff as needed.

“It’s a great location and a booming industry,” he says. “I’m definitely excited to see it keep growing.”
