A new skywalk bridge is planned to connect the Spokane Convention Center to the Grand Hotel that Spokane hoteliers Walt and Karen Worthy are developing across Spokane Falls Boulevard from it. The new hotel is scheduled to open in the summer of 2015 and to have 716 guest rooms, an 18,000-square-foot ballroom, and 62,500 square feet of convention space.
