Spokane chef Adam Hegsted plans to open a new casual dining space to be called Incrediburger & Eggs in the heart of Downtown.

Hegsted says the restaurant is set to open early this month at 909 W. First, in 3,000 square feet of street-level space formerly occupied by Dempsey’s Brass Rail bar.

Hegsted says the space has been vacant since Dempsey’s went out of business in 2011. The two-story building was purchased by developer Jerry Dicker in 2015, who remodeled its second floor to house the offices of his company, GVD Commercial
Properties.

Hegsted says he anticipates hiring at least 20 employees for the restaurant, which will feature a walk-up counter with cashiers as well as self-order kiosk options.

“It’s not fast food, but it is a bit faster paced,” he says. “But all the food will still be handmade, using as many locally sourced, quality ingredients as possible.”

In addition to Incrediburger, Hegsted also owns or is a partner in several other Spokane restaurants, including the Wandering Table, Yards Bruncheon, and the Gilded Unicorn.
