Structural framing started at the beginning of March at the high-end townhome development known as The Nest On Lake Side, in downtown Coeur d’Alene.
Measom Holdings LLC, a Houston-based development company, is developing the five-unit, $15 million complex on the south side of the 800 block of East Lakeside Avenue.
Hayden-based StanCraft Construction Group, which opened last summer as part of the family of StanCraft companies, is the project contractor. D’Zign Group Architecture LLP, of Hayden, is the designer. Houston-based Mel Poet, of Poet Interiors, partnered with Measom Holdings to design the interiors.
Completion of the living units is expected to be staggered, with one scheduled to come on the market each month starting this August.
The townhomes will be three stories tall, with each including three bedrooms, four full bathrooms, two half bathrooms, and a flex room in about 3,500 square feet of floor space. Each unit also will feature a two-car garage, an elevator, and a third-floor outdoor terrace.
The five units will be in three structures, with duplexes built on each end of the development and one unit in a stand-alone structure in the center.
Complementing the nest theme, each planned unit has been named after a type of bird: The Sparrow, The Robin, The Starling, The Finch, and The Wren. Measom Holdings is marketing them at a price of $2.95 million apiece. As of early March, one unit had been reserved, and the other four were listed as available.
