  • Print Article

Quality Powdercoating Inc., of Hayden, is constructing a new facility in Hayden.

Post Falls-based Donohoe Construction is the contractor on the project. Rich Donohoe, owner and manager of the construction company, says the powder coating company plans to move to a shop and office to be constructed at 9976 N. Lyle Loop, about a mile northeast of its current location at 690 Hayden Avenue.

A Quality Powdercoating representative couldn’t be reached for comment.

Donohoe says he expects to break ground on the $1 million project within the next week. The 10,100-square-foot pre-engineered steel structure will take about six months to complete, depending on the weather, Donohoe says.

The architect on the project is Spokane Valley-based Russell C. Page Architects PS. Engineering services will be provided by Post Falls-based Ace Solutions LLC and Coeur d’Alene-based Tate Engineering PC.

Quality Powdercoating offers powder paint finishing for items such as automobile wheels, hand rails, equipment, and other metal objects. The company also offers sandblasting and ceramic coating services.
