FSC Financial Group to rebrand at start of 2015
Firm added third partner at beginning of the yearDecember 4th, 2014
FSC Financial Group, an independent financial advising and wealth management firm founded here by Fred S. Cox III and Steve Gray in 1991 and that added a third adviser early this year, says it plans to change its name on Jan. 1 to Premier Partners Wealth Management.
“We believe a new business name will better reflect our updated mission statement and vision for the future,” says Stacer Varga, the newest adviser in the firm and Cox’s daughter.
The firm updated its mission statement a few months ago, and changed its name, to better reflect its growth beyond sponsored plans to “a lot more one-on-one” client financial advising, Varga says.
The firm’s updated mission statement reads: “At Premier Partners Wealth Management, we seek to provide families with financial independence and security through innovative wealth management strategies. We explore and clarify each individual client’s financial goals, provide our professional advice with honesty, and manage their assets with integrity. We put the needs of the families first, striving to deliver unrivaled service and support through life-long client relationships.”
The firm says the rebranding won’t involve making any changes to its operational structure, and it will continue to hold its securities registrations through LPL Financial, one of the largest independent broker-dealers in the nation.
FSC Financial Group leases space on the seventh floor of the Lincoln Building, at 818 W. Riverside downtown, and employs one other person, Jennifer Darvis, who is its client services and office manager.
The firm offers financial assistance in areas such as traditional, Roth, and rollover IRAs; 401(k), 403(b), detailed retirement, and tax planning; college and estate planning; life, long-term care, and disability-income insurance; and variable and fixed annuities.
