Work starts on clinic in Valley

Ear, nose, throat office to cost about $2.2 million

January 15, 2009
David Cole

Spokane Ear, Nose & Throat Clinic PS is developing an office in Spokane Valley at a cost of about $2.2 million.

The 7,000-square-foot clinic will be located at 13414 E. Mission. Ramey Construction Co., of Spokane, began constructing the building last month, and the clinic is slated to be complete in August, says Rod Emerson, CEO of Spokane ENT.

"We have a good patient base out in the Valley, and we want to make it more convenient for them, and expand our business at the same time," Emerson says.

ENT has a 33,000-square-foot main office at 217 W. Cataldo and a 7,000-square-foot clinic at 9922 N. Nevada. The Valley clinic will have the same floor plan as the North Side facility, he says. As at both other facilities here, ENT's affiliated Columbia Hearing Centers will occupy space in the new building.

OMS Inc., of Spokane, designed the clinic. A total of about 10 people will be employed there, he says.

Ramey's construction contract is for $1.2 million, Emerson says.
