NAI Black, the prominent Spokane commercial real estate brokerage, says it expects to see more transactions here involving large companies as a result of the recent acquisition of NAI Global by an international commercial real estate services company.
NAI Black is an independent affiliate of Princeton, N.J.-based NAI Global, an international network of commercial real estate brokerages. Irving, Texas-based C-III Capital Partners LLC recently completed its acquisition of NAI Global.
Jeff Johnson, president of NAI Black, says the acquisition should lead to more transactions here involving Fortune 500 companies.
C-III is a commercial real estate services company that handles primary loan origination and servicing, investment and fund management, title services, and multifamily property management.
NAI Global will continue to operate as a separate company under its current management.
Meantime, NAI Black will continue to operate under its current name.
"C-III will add significantly to the Fortune 500 companies that NAI Global provides real estate services to around the world, including in Spokane," Johnson asserts. "We've received the first of many assignments as result of the C-III relationship."
Johnson says C-III handles billions of dollars of real estate loans.
"Many of these commercial real estate loans C-III services are in secondary and tertiary markets like Spokane," he says. "A number of those properties will need real estate services."
Dave Black, CEO of NAI Black, says, "As the economy begins to strengthen and turn around, the relationship with C-III will provide a lot of opportunities for us to provide services in Spokane and outside of Spokane."
