Reliant RX buys former Signature Genomics space

Specialty pharmacy to move there from University District

Kroetch Investment Holdings LLC, which owns Reliant RX specialty pharmacy, has bought the former Signature Genomics Laboratories facility in north Spokane, with plans to move there and expand, Realtors involved in the transaction say.

PerkinElmer Inc., the Waltham, Mass.-based company that owned Signature Genomics, shut down operations in the 18,400-square-foot building, located at 2820 N. Astor, in the middle of last year.

Reliant RX CEO Tammy Kroetch couldn’t be reached for comment.

Spokane County Assessor’s Office records say Kroetch bought the property for $2 million. Jeff Ottmar and Guy Byrd, of Cornerstone Property Advisors LLC, and Mark Lucas, of Kiemle & Hagood Co., handled the transaction.

Reliant RX is a specialty pharmacy that serves more than 230 long-term care facilities in the Inland Northwest, providing pharma and mobile lab services. The company also operates Reliant LifeWorks clinic, which focuses on hormone balancing treatments, travel vaccinations, and weight-loss programs.

A press release issued by Cornerstone Property Advisors says Reliant currently employs 70 people and plans to add more pharmacists and technicians as demand warrants.

Reliant is moving to the former Signature Genomics building from a 7,000-square-foot space in the Innovate Spokane Technology Building, at 120 N. Pine, in the University District.
