Chiropractor acquires South Hill practice
Bell also now certified in craniocervical workSeptember 10th, 2015
CR Clearview LLC, a company owned by Spokane chiropractor Rachae Bell, has bought the assets of the Clear Chiropractic Spokane office, located at 2503 E. 27th on Spokane’s South Hill.
The practice will continue to do business under the Clear Chiropractic name, Bell says.
Separately, Bell recently earned a Diplomate in Craniocervical Junction Procedures, or a DCCJP, a certificate that she claims few people in the world hold. Earning the certificate involves extensive education about the craniocervical junction, which she says refers to the base of the skull and the two uppermost neck bones. Her practice focuses primarily on treatment of that area.
Since the chiropractic practice opened in July 2013, Bell has worked as the clinic director. The business had been under the ownership of her mentor and fellow chiropractor, Darren White, who practices in King County.
Clear Chiropractic leases its roughly 1,900-square-foot space from neighboring Physical Therapy Associates, she says. It has three full-time employees and one part-time employee here, says Bell.
Clear Chiropractic helps alleviate pain without drugs or invasive procedures, says Bell. Most people think of chiropractic as a type of medicine that uses a great deal of force, she says, but she describes her practice as “gentle chiropractic.”
“We actually use very minimal force, and there’s no bending, twisting, or popping,” says Bell. “So it’s very gentle, and it’s very specific, and it’s based on how every person’s joint angles fit together.”
Other resources include onsite digital X-rays and a massage therapist on staff, she says.
