Kansas City, Missouri-based United Country Real Estate|Northwest Land & Lifestyle Properties, which has a franchise in Hayden Lake, has partnered with Columbus, Georgia-based Realtree, a retailer of camouflage clothing to provide a new service to those looking to purchase hunting property.

The new service, dubbed Realtree United County Hunting Properties, offers a website for those looking to invest in hunting properties, says Hayden Lake franchise owner Tom Moore.

The service is designed to cater specifically to buyers and sellers interested in hunting, outdoor recreation, and conservation properties, according to a press release from the two companies.

Moore says between 30 and 35 properties are available in the Inland Northwest for purchase through the new service. Overall, the site currently lists over 2,300 properties for sale.

Along with property listings, Moore contends his background in forestry allows for conservation and property management advice, another service offered through the new partnership.

“We have our own website specific to UC/Realtree hunting properties, so it’s only hunting properties across the U.S.,” says Moore. “We’re very careful as brokers to protect the integrity of those listings; we don’t just put any properties on there if it’s not a hunting property.”

Moore says with the new partnership, United Country will now reach a broader demographic, which he says will have an impact on the company dynamic by increasing exposure for property sellers and buyers.

Clients will have access to a large inventory of hunting properties nationwide, increased nationwide marketing, consulting services on land value, management, and optimization, as well as mapping, video, and detailed information about each property.

“More information and more national exposure for clients is the biggest benefit of the partnership,” Moore says.

Moore says he currently has five foresters on staff, and a total of 11 employees. Offices are located in Bigfork, Montana; Thompson Falls, Montana; and Hayden Lake, he says, and the company expects to open offices this year in Sandpoint and Moscow, Idaho.
