Liberty Lake-based real estate developer Greenstone Corp. is planning to construct a $70 million, six-story, mixed-use apartment building on one of the remaining vacant lots in Kendall Yards, on the north bank of the Spokane River.

Hayden-based Viking Construction Inc. is building a mixed-use development, tentatively dubbed Westwood Pines, located north of Highway 53 and a half-mile mile northeast of Lakeland High School, in Rathdrum.

Two Spokane-area churches are investing a combined $6 million that will expand their campuses and accommodate more attendees.
