Eastern Washington University is preparing to replace a long-dormant residence hall on its Cheney campus with a new, larger student housing facility at 106 N. Ninth.

Comcast Corp. is currently expanding services to Cheney following the completion of a significant network expansion to more than 2,000 homes and businesses in Chattaroy, Four Lakes, and Medical Lake, says Andy Colley, senior director, external communications for Comcast.
