Inland Imaging LLC, of Spokane, has began offering diagnostic radiology services and image distribution services to Walla Walla General Hospital, in Walla Walla, Wash.

Inland Imaging has hired Dr. Brian Rich, who was the hospital's contract radiologist previously, to serves as its Walla Walla-based radiologist for the hospital. The company also provides after-hours image reading and subspecialty image reading for the hospital from Spokane online.

Walla Walla General Hospital is a 72-bed, acute-care hospital, and is part of the Adventist Health Group, which is based in Roseville, Calif., and operates 17 hospitals in the West.

Inland operates free-standing imaging centers and offers contract radiology services and information technology services throughout the western U.S.

It has similar contracts with a number of other facilities in Washington and Arizona, including Providence Holy Family Hospital and Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital, in Spokane; Pullman Memorial Hospital, in Pullman; Providence Mount Carmel Hospital, in Colville; and Airway Heights Corrections Center.

Inland Imaging employs 61 radiologists, six surgeons, and more than 500 staff members. It interprets more than 600,000 exams each year.
