The Spokane chapter of the American Advertising Federation will hold a lunch program on Wednesday, Jan. 6, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at 1520 W. Third, in Spokane. Greater Spokane Incorporated will hold its Good Morning Greater Spokane January Membership Breakfast on Friday, Jan. 8, from 7 to 9 a.m., at the Northern Quest Resort & Casino ballroom, 100 N. Hayford, in Airway Heights. A 2009 update will be provided by: Brian Forth, president of SiteCrafting Inc., in Tacoma; Rick Robinson, president and CEO of Kim Hotstart Manufacturing Co. here; and Jeanette Fairless, president of Spectrum Home Services, relocated from Portland to Spokane. The Spokane Chapter of the Washington Society of CPAs will hold its Ninth Annual Economic Forecast and Update meeting, on Wednesday, Jan. 13, from noon to 1:15 p.m., at the Spokane Club, 1002 W. Workshops & Seminars
APICSThe Association for Operations Management will hold a workshop, titled Cycle Counting, on Thursday, Jan. 7, from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. The cost is $100 for members, and $125 for others. APICS will also hold a 10-session class, titled Basics of Supply Chain Management, on Tuesdays from Jan. 12 to March 16, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The cost is $425 for members, and $495 for others.
