A $2.9 million repaving and beautification project is under way on Fourth Street in Coeur d'Alene from Lakeside Avenue downtown northward to Harrison Avenue. Safco Excavating & Construction Inc., of Hayden, Idaho, is the contractor on the project, which is expected to be completed in October. Dell Hatch Design Studio PC, of Coeur d'Alene, and the Coeur d'Alene office of Boise-based J-U-B Engineers Inc. designed the project.
