Crews are replacing the Freya Street Bridge, which carries the major arterial over the BNSF Railway Co. tracks just north of Springfield and Broadway avenues and south of Trent Avenue. Garco Construction Inc., of Spokane, is the contractor on the $6.4 million project, which is expected to be completed late next year.
