Washington Trust Bank will host a personal document Shred Day on Friday, June 19, from noon to 4 p.m. at its East Sprague branch, at 3510 E. Sprague. Attendees may bring up to two small boxes of personal documents to shred at no charge, with a fee for additional amounts. Call James Mellott at 353-3334 for more information.





Horizon Credit Union is holding a Shred Day, on Friday, June 26, at its Northpointe branch, located at 9861 N. Nevada, at which credit union members and others will be able to destroy up to one file box of personal or small-business documents. A Recall shred truck will be onsite from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., but people can drop off documents at any time during the day.

Workshops & Seminars
The Construction Industry Training Council of Washington is holding a workshop covering state electrical code updates on grounding and bonding, on Saturday, June 20, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at a cost of $135. Additionally, the council will hold two other workshops, titled HVAC Administrator/Journeyman Exam Review, and Motors, Basic Controls & Hazardous Locations, each on Saturday, June 27, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call Sarah Lutterloh at (425) 454-2482 to register and for location information.



SCORE, Counselors to America's Small Business, will present the workshop, Financial Record Keeping, on Wednesday, June 24, from 9 a.m. to noon, at the Spokane Regional Business Center, 801 W. Riverside, at a cost of $35 in advance or $40 at the door. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. To register, call 353-2821.



The National Seminars Training group will present a workshop titled Time Management & Organization Skills for Professionals, on Tuesday, June 30, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Hampton Inn Spokane, 2010 S. Assembly, at a cost of $179. It will present Coaching and Mentoring Skills for Leadership Success, on Thursday, July 2, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Hilton Garden Inn, 9015 W. Spokane Federal Credit Union is holding a free seminar, Job Changes and Your Retirement Assets, on Wednesday, June 24, at 1 p.m. and again at 6:30 p.m. at the credit union, located at 601 W. Mallon. Call Jonna Damiano at 327-2949 to RSVP.



The Community Health Education & Resources (CHER), a service of Inland Northwest Health Services, will present a course for Adult HeartSaver CPR certification on Friday, June 26, from 7:45 to 10 a.m., at St. Luke's Rehabilitation Institute, 711 S.
