ICM brings RedChip Cos. to Spokane

ICM Asset Management Inc.

February 26, 1997

Spokane-based ICM Asset Management Inc. has moved here a Portland, Ore., company it bought a year ago that provides analyst coverage of small public companies.

The Portland company, RedChip Cos. LLC, has moved to the 11th floor of the Washington Mutual Financial Center downtown, at 601 W. Main, says ICM spokeswoman Cassandra Devaney. ICMs own offices occupy space on the sixth floor of that building.

RedChip, which publishes the Red Chip Review newsletter, employs 15 people here, Devaney says. RedChip is hiring more analysts and expects its work force to expand in the future, she says. RedChip also employs three analysts and a salesperson in Portland, and another salesperson elsewhere, she says.

Currently, employees are redesigning the Red Chip Review, and will relaunch the publication in January as a monthly rather than a twice-monthly publication, Devaney says.

ICM is a money-management company that specializes in serving institutional investors and high-asset individuals.
