Dream Studio to launch in downtown Spokane

Photography studio, creative hub to open March 29

March 4, 2025
Journal of Business Staff

A new photography studio and creative hub is expected to open March 29, at 811 W. Second, in downtown Spokane.

Dream Studio will serve as a hub for the creative community, offering events, classes, rentals, and residencies.

The studio will offer access to three natural-light rooms with 11-foot ceilings, a dedicated make-up and hair station, and equipment including light stands, modifiers, strobes, tripods, backdrops, and a prop closet.

“While Dream Studio is a dream for natural light photographers, it also will provide photographers, at any stage in their career, access to quality equipment and lessons on how to use everything,” says studio owner Hara Allison in a press release. “In addition to lighting, we have plans to offer classes on modeling, make up, and other skills—even improv.”

Allison also owns Studio H Creative LLC and Hara Allison Photography, and was the founder of Beneath Your Beautiful, a now-defunct magazine and podcast.

Dream Studio's grand opening event will include hors d'oeuvres, refreshments, live music, and swag bags for the first 20 guests.
