Contineo to combine with Moss Adams

Big accounting firm to start offering consulting company's services at beginning of 2016

November 19, 2015
Staff Report

Spokane-based financial services consulting firm Contineo has agreed to combine with Seattle-based accounting and business consulting firm Moss Adams LLP.

Beginning Jan. 1, Moss Adams will start to offer Contineo services, which include IT security, regulatory compliance, and internal audit services to financial services organizations. Moss Adams, however, won’t add the outsourced IT services that Contineo offers.

Contineo President and CEO Craig Sanders will join Moss Adams as a partner, and the company’s 14 employees are slated to join Moss Adams in the firm’s Spokane office and through remote locations in Seattle, Dallas, and Meadview, Ariz.

Founded in 1999, Contineo has hundreds of clients in 27 states.

Moss Adams has more than 2,200 employees serving clients from 27 locations. Its customer base includes middle-market companies, government entities, and nonprofit organizations across 33 industries.

Located on the 18th floor of the Bank of America Financial Center, at 601 W. Riverside downtown, the Spokane office of Moss Adams ranked first on the Journal of Business’ Largest Accounting Firms list published March 12. At that time, the firm reported employing 53 CPAs and 85 employees in total in Spokane.
