U-Haul signs two new dealerships

Large rental company now has six North Side outlets

October 8, 2015
Mike McLean

Two Spokane-area businesses have teamed up with Phoenix-based moving equipment and storage rental company U-Haul International Inc. to become U-Haul dealers for their respective neighborhoods.

The newly designated neighborhood dealers are North Point Mini Storage LLC, and Wandermere Truck & Trailer Rentals, both located on Spokane’s North Side, according to press releases issued by U-Haul.

North Point Mini Storage, a self-storage facility owned by Robert Wiles and Dennis Cross, is located on a 3.5-acre lot at 10411 N. Nevada, and Wandermere Truck & Trailer Rentals, owned by Ed Sonnenborn, is located at 11921 N. Division.

Both locations offer U-Haul trucks, trailers, towing equipment, boxes, and related accessories.

Using a U-Haul truck-sharing distribution system, neighborhood dealerships have access to a larger fleet of trucks and trailers than they could otherwise access on an individual basis, the company asserts.

U-Haul’s rental trucks come in sizes ranging from pickups and cargo vans to 26-foot moving trucks large enough to haul the contents of a four-bedroom house, the company claims.

Towable items include several sizes of covered and uncovered trailers, vehicle trailers, and tow dollies.

Other North Side U-Haul dealers include Eagle Self Storage, at 14106 N. Market; U-Haul Moving & Storage at North Division, at 8805 N. Division; U-Haul Moving & Storage of North Spokane, at 7028 N. Division; and A to Z Rentals, at 1413 E. Francis.
