The Spokane Home Builders Association's eighth annual Fall Festival of Homes will be held over the next two three-day weekends.
The Fall Festival will feature 32 homes by 18 Spokane-area builders, says Joel White, SHBA's executive officer. The association will present the scattered-site event free of charge.
Show hours will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 28-30 and Oct. 5-7.
Homes will be offered in a variety of listed prices, ranging from $164,900 for a three-bedroom home with 1,200 square feet of living space in Spokane Valley, to $649,900 for a six-bedroom, 5,100-square-foot home in northwest Spokane.
All homes entered in the festival have been constructed since last year's show.
Five sectors of the Spokane areanorth, south, west, Spokane Valley, and Liberty Lakewill be represented in the show, he says.
Host sites will include Eagle Ridge, in south Spokane; Elk Ridge Heights, in the Valley; River District, in Liberty Lake; and River Run, on the North Side.
Festival programs with tour maps and descriptions of each home will be available at the host sites. Tour maps and information also are available through the festival's website at spokanefestivalofhomes.com.
The show will feature a text-to-win promotion with two main prizes that festival attendees can enter during the show. One prize will be an appliance package valued at $4,000 from Fred's Appliance, and the other will be a $3,000 closet package from California Closets.
White says several thousand people usually view homes in the show.
The SHBA is a building-industry trade group with members in seven Eastern Washington counties. The Fall Festival of Homes is a collaboration of homebuilders, specialty contractors, building-material suppliers, lenders, and real estate professionals.
