Rejuvenate Rx opens in North Spokane

July 19, 2012
Chey Scott

dical clinic, has opened in North Spokane at 10015 N. Division.

The clinic is owned by Dr. Gwyneth Blattau Gay and her husband, Christopher Gay, and offers non-emergency, primary-care medical services through a fee-for-service model that doesn't involve billing patients' insurance providers.

Christopher Gay, who oversees the clinic's day-to-day operations, says that model of care is known in the industry as convenient care, and Rejuvenate Rx charges its patients $75 per visit. He says that he and his wife decided to open the clinic using that payment model because it makes medical care more accessible to patients who don't have insurance, and to those who might need to see a physician for a minor medical issue but can't get scheduled soon enough with their primary-care doctor.

Blattau Gay has practiced medicine for 11 years and previously worked in a 28-provider medical practice in Maryland.
