The Power Wash car wash at 1707 W. Garland will be razed, and a Blissful Blends coffee stand will take its place, according to documents filed with the city of Spokane.
Sarah Birnel-Davis, owner of Blissful Blends, couldn’t be reached immediately for comment.
A demolition permit shows that the 2,900-square-foot Power Wash will be demolished, and a pre-development conference application shows that a 589-square-foot Blissful Blends coffee stand will be built on the site. The oval-shaped stand will be oriented diagonally to Garland Avenue to allow more space for traffic circulation.
Blissful Blends has four coffee stands in Spokane: at 3118 E. Mission, in East Spokane; at 4408 S. Regal, on the South Hill; and at 540 E. Francis and at 8625 N. Nevada, on the North Side.
