Tomlinson offices here align with Coldwell Banker

February 11, 2010

Tomlinson Real Estate Group LLC says its four Spokane-area offices have aligned with Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC, a Parsippany, N.J.-based real estate network with 3,500 affiliate offices worldwide.

The brokerage here, which has roots that go back 71 years, is now Coldwell Banker Tomlinson, says Bob Tomlinson, chairman of the company.

Tomlinson Real Estate Group operated 12 residential real estate offices in Idaho and Eastern Washington under the Coldwell Banker brand as part of a phased rollout that began in 2007, when Tomlinson and Dave Black, the two main principals of the former Spokane-based Tomlinson Black Group of Cos., parted ways. At that time Tomlinson Real Estate Group formed an alliance with Parsippany-based Realogy Corp., Coldwell Banker's parent company.

Tomlinson claims Coldwell Banker Tomlinson now is the third largest Coldwell Banker affiliate in the U.S.

The ownership group here, consisting of Tomlinson, Bryan Walker, Mike Hume, and Fred Meyer, will remain intact, he says.

The Spokane-area offices, which have a total of 233 agents, are located at 721 N. Pines, in Spokane Valley; 601 S. Division, on the South Hill; 8205 N. Division, on the North Side; and at 2640 N. First, in Cheney.
