Coldwell Banker Tomlinson group opens Valley real estate office

Agency looks to grow; opens with 13 agents

November 3, 2016

Coldwell Banker Tomlinson, a prominent real estate agency here, has opened a Spokane Valley office six years after closing an office there during recession-era consolidations.

Abbey Parsons, managing broker at the Valley office, says 13 agents are based at the new Coldwell Banker Tomlinson Valley office at 1419 N. Argonne Road.

“We’re hoping to expand over time,” Parsons says. “This office has space for 25 agents.”

The office occupies 2,500 square feet of leased space in a retail center at the southwest corner of Mission Avenue and Argonne Road.

Coldwell Banker Tomlinson now has four offices in the Spokane area. Its other offices are at 4102 S. Regal, on the South Hill; at 8205 N. Division, on the North Side; and at 2650 First, in Cheney.

Coldwell Banker Tomlinson is a subsidiary of Tomlinson Real Estate Group LLC, which operates 11 other Coldwell Banker offices and two Sotheby’s International Realty offices, including offices in Coeur d’Alene, Sandpoint, Moses Lake, Tri-Cities, and Boise.

The company closed its Spokane Valley office in late 2010 during a period of mergers and consolidations, Parsons says. At the time, the larger office had about 150 agents, most of whom were absorbed into the Coldwell Banker Tomlinson north and south offices.

Some of those agents have returned to the new Valley office, says Parsons, who began her real estate career as an agent with Coldwell Banker Tomlinson in 2013.

Coldwell Banker Tomlinson is a franchisee of Madison, N.J.-based Coldwell Banker, which has a global network of 3,000 independently owned and operated broker offices in 47 countries.

Coldwell Banker Tomlinson Valley will focus on residential real estate transactions, although the parent agency also has divisions that handle commercial real estate, acreage properties, and agricultural land.

In all, the Tomlinson Real Estate Group has 780 agents serving Eastern Washington and Idaho.
