New date set for 36-unit condo auction at Village at Riverstone

June 18, 2009
Mike McLean

The date for the planned auction of 36 luxury condominium units in the Village at Riverstone, in Coeur d'Alene, has been reset for July 12, says Kennedy Hill Auction Group, the Beverly Hills, Calif.-based company that's handling the event.

The auction had been scheduled for June 14, but was postponed to give people interested in the units more time to make arrangements to travel to Coeur d'Alene and to qualify to bid for them, says Rhett Winchell, president of Kennedy Wilson.

Bid prices will begin at $180,000 to $490,000 for new condominiums originally listed at prices ranging from $329,000 to $899,000, Winchell says. The units have one to three bedrooms and range in size from 800 to 2,000 square feet.

The auction will begin at 1 p.m. at the Coeur d'Alene Resort.

To participate in the auction, bidders are required to register by July 9 at the auction information office, at 2362 Old Mill Loop, in the Village at Riverstone. An auction Web site has been set up, and it will allow registered bidders who can't attend the auction to bid online.
