Furniture store planned at Riverstone in Cd'A

Owner Angela Quinn owns similar store called Quinn Essentials, in Post Falls

February 26, 2009

Angela Quinn, of Post Falls, plans to open her second furniture store in early March in Coeur d'Alene.

The store, Essential Home Furnishings LLC, will occupy 5,400 square feet of floor space at 2480 Old Mill Loop in the Village at Riverstone development, and will have about six employees, including two outside salespeople who will target commercial businesses.

The store will carry different lines than those carried by Quinn Essentials Inc., in Post Falls, which she also owns. Quinn opened that store, at 518 E. Fifth, two years ago.

Essential Home Furnishings will carry more modern styles than the Post Falls store, Quinn says.

It also will feature specialty upholstery patterns, including leopard and zebra prints, she adds.

"We will have traditional prints as well," Quinn says.

The Post Falls store will continue to specialize in Tuscan and Old World styles, she says.

Quinn, who has done some decorating for model homes in the Riverstone development, says Essential Home Furnishings will be set up to work with developers and interior designers in addition to its retail customers.

Essential Home Furnishings will be priced for the mid-range market, Quinn says. For instance, sofas will range in price from $500 to $800, she says.
