Haven Real Estate Group owners start new mortgage company

Real estate firm, new lender located downtown

July 1, 2021
Kevin Blocker

Spokane-based Haven Real Estate Group LLC debuted a new affiliate—Haven Mortgage Group LLC—in mid-June.

Co-founded by the husband-and-wife duo Robert and Cambria Henry, Haven Real Estate was launched in 2015 and now has eight full-time employees and works with 68 agents in Spokane and Coeur d’Alene.

“It’s frightening,” says Robert Henry regarding starting a mortgage business. “The idea of it always just seemed daunting.”

The couple, however, sought the help of Detroit-based Give Management, which specializes in helping real estate companies establish their own mortgage offerings, he says.

The headquarters of both companies are located in a third-floor suite of the Washington Cracker Co. Building, at 304 W. Pacific, in downtown Spokane.

Haven Mortgage has two full-time employees and currently has 15 transactions pending in just two weeks of operations, he says.

“Our goal was always to create a great experience for the real estate consumer,” Henry says. “Now we want to equally do the same on the mortgage and lending side.”
