ServiceMaster in Coeur d'Alene to move to new Post Falls building

November 20, 2008
Mike McLean

ServiceMaster of North Idaho plans to move next spring to a building that's currently under construction in northwest Post Falls.

Steel Structures America Inc., of Post Falls, is erecting the $550,000, 12,000-square-foot structure, for Boulder Business Park LLC. The park connects to the north side of Seltice Way just east of Pleasant View Road. ML Architect & Associates, of Post Falls, designed the project. ServiceMaster will lease space there.

ServiceMaster of North Idaho, a franchisee of Memphis, Tenn.-based The ServiceMaster Co., currently is located at 4921 N. Duncan, in Coeur d'Alene, and plans to occupy the new building on April 1, says Mike MacRae, who, with Kelly Norton, owns the franchise.

MacRae says 8,200 square feet of floor space in the Boulder Court building will be warehouse space, and the remaining 3,800 square feet will be divided into two levels of office space.

ServiceMaster of North Idaho is a cleaning service that specializes in residential and commercial restoration in structures damaged by fire and water.

The franchise has 15 employees and doesn't plan to add any employees in the near future, although the new building will give it more room so it can handle more projects, MacRae says.

The Boulder Court location also is more centrally located in its service area, which includes Spokane, Kootenai, Bonner, and Benewah counties, than the company's current location, he says.

MacRae declines to disclose the franchise's annual revenues, but says they have grown 25 percent over the last two years.
