Northwest Developers Group Inc., of Coeur dAlene, is developing a 40-unit, 10-building condominium complex in Post Falls at an estimated cost of $5 million.
The complex will be named Black Bay Village, and will be located on a 4-acre site along Bay Street next to Black Bay Park, a 56-acre park with bike paths that lead to the Centennial Trail and provide fishing access to the Spokane River, says Tammy Morris, the companys vice president of development.
Infrastructure work is under way now, and construction of the first two-story building is expected to begin this month, Morris says. That building will have four condo units, each with 1,327 square feet of floor space, she says. Construction of that structure is expected to complete within a year.
BlackWolf Homes & Development Inc., of Hayden, is the contractor for the project, and architect Larry Herres, of Coeur dAlene, designed the complex, she says. Northwest Developers will own the complex and is financing the project.
In addition to the 10 condo buildings, a clubhouse that would include a gym, kitchen, and indoor pool has been proposed for the complex, Morris says.
The condos will share the same exterior style, but residents will be able to choose from four different interior designs. Each unit will have an attached two-car garage.
Morris says the condos are expected to range in price from $200,000 to $250,000. Coldwell Banker Schneidmiller Realty, of Coeur dAlene, will market the units.
