Dr. Keenan Milonas, a Liberty Lake physician, has established what’s referred to as a concierge membership practice and hopes to grow it with an emphasis on serving patients on a holistic level.

Late last year, Milonas moved his Custom MD medical practice to the Liberty Lake Medical Center, at 2207 N. Molter Road, says Mellisa Milonas, the physician’s wife, who also handles public relations for the practice. It occupies 3,000 square feet of space and has five examination rooms and a pair of waiting rooms.

Part of the space Custom MD now occupies once served as the home to the Liberty Lake Eye Care Center, she says.

Custom MD had been located briefly at 705 W. Seventh, on Spokane’s lower South Hill.

In addition to the physician, the practice currently employs an esthetician, a health and wellness coach, and is looking to hire a massage therapist, Mellisa says.

While one goal is to expand the practice by hiring more health care professionals, she says the physician also wants to be able to spend time with patients and get a more well-rounded view of their health care needs.

Membership in Custom MD is $1,800 annually, Mellisa says.

With the annual membership, patients are guaranteed an appointment within 48 hours. Additional benefits include a minimum of an hour of “face time” with Dr. Milonas and a personalized wellness plan tailored for each patient, she says. In a typical day, the physician rarely sees more than a half-dozen patients, Mellisa says.

Dr. Milonas, 41, has been a practicing physician for seven years.
