Recognizing influence, past and present

February 1, 2024
Linn Parish

It's a fortunate coincidence that our 2024 People of Influence section appears in the same issue as stories about two people who have been massively influential in the Inland Northwest entrepreneurial ecosystem.

For the front-page piece, reporter Dylan Harris talks to serial entrepreneur Jordan Allen about his newest venture. BuyWander Inc. It's an interesting concept that involves auctioning off new- to nearly-new merchandise secured from large retailers.

The ecommerce enterprise is launching as deputy editor Mike McLean catches up with Josh Neblett, one of the co-founders of Green Cupboards, an online eco-friendly store that evolved to become one of Spokane's more visible startup successes.

Enjoy these stories, along with the vignettes about our People of Influence honorees. And as always, thank you for reading the Journal.
