The City of Liberty Lake has hired Mickael Stevens as a recreation coordinator. Stevens will oversee activities at city-owned sites, as well as manage reservations for city park facilities.

Spokane-based Quantum Financial Planning has hired Nick Fuller as a financial planner. Fuller previously was a financial adviser at Jersey City, New Jersey-based national financial advisory firm Osaic Wealth Inc.

Spokane Valley-based Numerica Credit Union has hired Nathan Hickman as senior vice president of digital experience and engagement. Hickman was previously vice president of talent management at BECU.

Deer Park-based Knight Wall Systems has hired Heidi Olson as a project manager. Olson was previously a marketing coordinator at Washington Trust Bank and an operations manager for Spokane-based environmental and safety-compliance consultancy Spring Environmental Inc.

Hayden-based AllWest Testing & Engineering LLC has promoted Brett Zimmerman to chief operations officer. Zimmerman initially joined AllWest in 2009 as a field technician and most recently served as the interim Hayden-area manager at AllWest.

Spokane-based ALSC Architects PS has hired, from left, Adam Rouns as an architect. Rouns previously worked at Bernardo Wills. ALSC also has hired Janine Westlund as a project manager. Westlund previously worked at Chicago-based architecture firm Architrave. Mercedes Kissinger-Smith also has been hired at ALSC as a marketing coordinator. Kissinger-Smith previously worked at Wolfe Architectural Group.

Spokane-based law firm Piskel Yahne Kovarik PLLC has promoted principal attorneys Whitny Norton and Benjamin McDonnell to equity members. Norton joined the firm in 2013, and practices in the areas of real estate, landlord-tenant, business, and employment-related disputes. McDonnell joined the firm in 2014. McDonnell's practice areas include construction, commercial, and bankruptcy litigation. 



Julie Hawken has joined Spokane-based real estate brokerage NAI Black as a sales and leasing broker in its Coeur d'Alene office. Hawken has a background in selling dental practices and properties across the Pacific Northwest. Jeff Ottmar has joined NAI Black as an investment broker in its Coeur d'Alene office. Ottmar specializes in self-storage assets. 


Awards & Designations 

CoStar, a commercial real estate platform, has awarded Cory Barbieri and Ray Oberg, of Spokane-based real estate agency Goodale & Barbieri, the 2023 CoStar Power Broker Award. The award seeks to recognize individuals who achieve high levels of leasing transaction volume. Renton, Washington-based Panattoni Development Co.'s Green Acres Distribution Center has also been recognized with CoStar's Impact Award for Development of the Year in the Spokane market. The award recognizes exemplary commercial real estate transactions and projects completed in 2024 with significant influence in neighborhoods or submarkets.
