A tip about that transaction came from a reader, who suggested we check it out after reading another story penned by Bullock about Foothills Lincoln Mazda being sold to Post Falls-based Knudtsen Chevrolet Co.

Similarly, reporter Dylan Harris tracked down the new owners of The Chalet Restaurant, a popular breakfast-and-lunch spot on the South Hill, after a longtime friend of the paper tipped us off.
