Spokane-based law firm Turner & Gagliardi PS has hired Whitney C. Hall as an associate attorney. Hall previously worked as a prosecutor for the Spokane County Prosecuting Attorney's Office. 

Seattle-based engineering company Parametrix has hired Brandon O'Bryan as a Coeur d'Alene-based senior surveyor. O'Bryan previously worked at Hayden-based Advanced Technology Surveying & Engineering as a project surveyor. He has over 15 years of experience managing survey projects across the Pacific Northwest. 

Millwood-based Inland Empire Paper Co. has promoted Chris Robinson to president from general manager. Robinson joined IEP in 2013 as the mill's fiber manager and has managed several departments within the company. 

Craig Hunter has joined Spokane-based real estate brokerage Kiemle Hagood as a commercial broker. Hunter previously worked for Coeur d'Alene-based real estate brokerage Coldwell Banker Commercial Schneidmiller Realty as a commercial broker.

Spokane-based Press Architecture has hired Pete Kanyer as an architect. Kanyer has over two decades of experience in the architecture industry, most recently with Spokane-based architecture firm olsonprojects. 

Coeur d'Alene-based design company Architects West has hired Michelle Widner as an interior designer at the firm's Spokane office. Widner previously worked for Spokane-based Bernardo Wills as an interior designer. 

STCU has promoted Josh Hurley, left, to assistant vice president director of continuous improvement from continuous improvement manager. Hurley has been with STCU since 2018. STCU has hired Nate Wehunt as vice president director of digital and consumer products. Wehunt previously led digital banking and e-commerce teams for City National Bank, in California, and Harris Bank, in Illinois.

The Communicator Awards has awarded Spokane-based Top Drawer Media's youth publication Let's Go Aerospace an Award of Excellence in the magazine series, campaign, age group, and marketing youth category. 

The U.S. Forest Service Community Wildfire Defense Grant program has awarded Spokane-based electric cooperative Inland Power & Light Co. a $9.85 million U.S. Forest Service Community Wildfire Defense grant. The grant will help Inland Power reduce fuel buildup in high wildfire risk areas.
