Premiere Aesthetics Institute expands to Post Falls

New beauty school on Seltice Way is third location for company

October 10, 2024

Premiere Aesthetics Institute LLC, a Bend, Oregon-based aesthetics education provider, is expanding to Post Falls, where the company will open its third location this month, says school director Aleah Quinlan.

The beauty school occupies the entire second floor of the multitenant Windermere Real Estate building at 1616 E. Seltice Way, in Post Falls.

The school currently is using about 5,500 square feet of the 9,500-square-foot office space it has secured, Quinlan says.

"We've got extra space, so that way we could expand and grow with time," she says, adding that there's no expansion timeline yet.

The school has two classrooms for students and three treatment rooms in a student-run spa for clients.

Five students are currently enrolled in Premiere's aesthetics education program, but class capacity is 16 students.

The school offers both full-time and part-time class options.

Students will complete a 600-hour training program that will take about four months for full-time students to complete, or eight months for part-time students. The aesthetics curriculum includes hands-on training experience, theory classes, simulated business projects, and practice in the spa.

Tuition is $13,000 and includes all student materials, supplies, and a comprehensive tool kit that students can keep at the 300-hour mark of their training.

"We have a bunch of certificates that they have the ability to earn while in school," says Quinlan, adding that students can earn certificates for waxing, chemical peels, and other treatments.

The school also offers certification in patented multistep Hydrafacial treatments, she adds.

"At the end of the 600 hours, they get a graduation certificate too," Quinlan says. "That gives them the ability to go off and take their licensure exams and get licensed as an esthetician here in the state of Idaho."

Quinlan, who also is one of two instructors at Premiere Aesthetics' Post Falls campus, says the new location was established due to a demand from potential students and spa owners in North Idaho.

Premiere Aesthetics' owner and founder Ryanna McMillen established Premiere's first school in Bend, Oregon, in 2015. A second school opened in Meridian, Idaho, in 2018, where Quinlan enrolled in August 2020. In January of 2021, she joined the organization.

The student-run spa is scheduled to open Oct. 18 and initially will offer deluxe or 60-minute facials. Other services, such as waxing, will be introduced gradually at the spa as students progress in their training.

The spa will operate 10:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 10:30-11:30 a.m. Friday, according to the company's website.
