Seattle-based KPFF Consulting Engineers has hired two employees at the company's Spokane and Coeur d’Alene offices. Kayla Schunzel has been hired as a civil and transportation design engineer. Schunzel previously worked at the Spokane office of Chicago, Illinois-based architecture and engineering firm Lochner. Collin Arnold has been hired as a surveying technician. Arnold previously worked for Spokane-based ALSC Architects PS.

Spokane Club has hired Dean Feldmeier as its general manager. Feldmeier previously worked as general manager of DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Spokane City Center.

Seattle-based structural and civil engineering firm DCI Engineers Inc. has promoted two employees. Kyle Cossette has been promoted to associate principal. Cossette previously worked as an associate. Sam Shastany has been promoted to associate. Shastany previously worked as senior project manager. 

Spokane-based Exit Real Estate Professionals has hired three brokers. Mike Hansen previously worked as an agent for Spokane-based GK Hansen Real Estate. Karene Loman has worked in real estate for 20 years. Nick Maier previously worked in banking.

Liberty Lake-based STCU has expanded its senior leadership team by promoting three employees, hiring one, and creating a new position. Tracy Ballard has been promoted to senior vice president of human resources and commercial development. Ballard previously served as vice president of human resources. Amy Friemel has been promoted to senior vice president of loan operations. Friemel previously served as vice president and director of continuous improvement. Amy Warker has been promoted to senior vice president of brand marketing. Warker previously worked as director of brand marketing. Steve Hauschild has joined as senior vice president of commercial banking. Hauschild formerly worked for BECU. Traci McGlathery has been appointed to chief impact and advocacy officer. McGlathery joined STCU in 2011 as community relations manager.

Spokane Valley-based Numerica Credit Union has promoted two employees. KayCee Murray has been promoted to chief technology officer from senior vice president of information technology. Lindsey Skinfill has been promoted to chief people officer from senior vice president of organizational people potential. 

YMCA of the Inland Northwest has hired Kaylan Sisco as its new CEO. Sisco previously served as the CEO at the Tillamook County Family YMCA.

Fort Collins, Colorado-based Brinkman Real Estate has promoted Larry Braud to vice president of investments. Braud will lead the sourcing and closing of new investment opportunities and oversee asset management across Washington, Oregon, Montana, and Northern Idaho.  

United Soccer League Spokane has hired 13 employees. Kayla Rubenstein has joined as Spokane Zephyr FC equipment manager. Rubenstein previously worked for Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC. Aaron Vega has joined as head equipment manager for Spokane Velocity FC. Vega previously worked for Inter Miami CF. Rob Erwin has joined as vice president of ticketing. Erwin previously worked for North Carolina FC. Emily Hill has joined as the assistant athletic trainer.  Hill is a recent graduate of University of Idaho. Ryan Tarmey has joined as Spokane Velocity FC team administrator. Tarmey previously worked for FC Dallas.  Jack Krauel has joined as senior manager of partnerships. Krauel previously worked for Spokane-based Extra Mile Institute.  Jessica Willis has joined as social media specialist. Willis previously interned for Washington State University Athletics. Kyla Colliton has joined as public relations and communications specialist. Colliton previously worked for Spokane-based Manito Golf & Country Club. Bo Stevens has joined as a graphic designer. Stevens previously worked for professional American football team Seattle Sea Dragons. Collin Ryan has joined as a ticket sales representative. Ryan previously worked for athletic apparel company Lululemon’s Spokane store. Cruz Galm has joined as a Spokane Zephyr FC team admin. Galm previously worked as a graduate assistant at Gonzaga University. Sly Yeates has joined as an assistant coach. Yeates previously worked for Lexington Sporting Club. Dane Secor has joined as a Spokane Velocity FC athletic trainer. Secor previously worked for the University of Idaho Athletic Department.

Spokane Valley-based Numerica Credit Union was recognized as this year’s Echo Award honoree at the Girl Scouts of Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho Sweets Before Supper event. The annual event honors local Women of Distinction and one community organization that creates an “echo of good” within the Girl Scouts and beyond.

Eastern Washington University Veterans Resource Center has been named one of the Military Support Colleges of Distinction for 2025. EWU is one of only three universities in Washington state to receive the recognition that highlights a commitment to veterans and active-duty service members.

Redmond, Oregon-based homebuilder and developer Hayden Homes LLC, a company with secondary markets in Washington, Idaho, and Montana, was awarded the Great Place to Work Certification for the second consecutive year through Oakland, California-based Great Place to Work Institute Inc.
