Ellie Mental Health of North Idaho opens new location

Company's second clinic located in Millworx development in Post Falls

Ellie Mental Health of North Idaho has expanded with a second clinic.

The new outpatient mental health clinic opened in May at the Millworx development in Post Falls, at 949 E. Fourth, Suite 106, just east of the Kindred & Co. bookstore and bistro.

"Our second location is now open and accepting new patients," says Jamie Major, owner of Ellie Mental Health of North Idaho, in a press release. "We're proud to be in-network with most major insurance providers, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Kaiser Permanente, Aetna, Pacific Source, and more.”

Ellie Mental Health of North Idaho is a franchisee of Minnesota-based Ellie Mental Health PLLP, which has hundreds of locations across the country. The North Idaho company opened its first clinic in Coeur d’Alene in 2023, at 1579 W. Riverstone Drive, Suite 101.

The new Post Falls clinic currently has five employees, with plans to add more, says Major. He says he expects there will soon be 25 licensed clinicians between the Post Falls and Coeur d’Alene clinics.

Once it reaches capacity, the new clinic will be able to handle 1,200 to 1,500 client visits each month.

Major says the decision to expand with a new location was prompted by a need in the community.

“We’ll continue to expand even more in the near future,” he adds.

Major says he’s considering additional offices in North Idaho and exploring possibilities in Eastern Washington and Montana.

Ellie Mental Health of North Idaho is actively recruiting licensed clinicians and therapists for both of its locations.

The Post Falls Chamber of Commerce will hold a grand opening celebration for the new Post Falls clinic on June 26.
