Journal names 2026 Business of the Year Awards finalists

Winners to be announced at event next month

The Journal has selected the finalists for its second annual Business of the Year Awards. 

All finalists will be recognized — and the winners will be disclosed — at an event scheduled for 5:30-7 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, at the Spokane Convention Center in downtown Spokane.

For small business of the year, the finalists are: Ability Employment Services Inc. and Williamson & Associates Technologies Inc., doing business as Wassoc.

Medium-sized business finalists are: Coeur d'Alene Tractor Co., dba Adams Tractor of Spokane; and No-Li Brewhouse LLC.

Large business finalists are: Bouten Construction Co., Jubilant HollisterStier LLC, Sunshine Health Facilities Inc., and Selkirk Sport LLC.

Social-service nonprofit award finalists are: Community Health Association of Spokane, dba CHAS Health; Spokane Neighborhood Action Partners; and Maddie's Place.
