Spokane-based nonprofit Slingshot has hired Amari Troutt as student opportunity coordinator. Troutt recently graduated from Gonzaga University with a bachelor’s degree in sport management and a minor in visual literacy.
Coeur d'Alene-based Kootenai Health has appointed Todd Holling to chief information officer. Prior to serving as chief information officer on an interim basis, Holling was deputy chief digital information officer for University of Texas Health San Antonio, in San Antonio, Texas.
WTB Investment Services has hired Stacey Casey as an assistant vice president and senior financial adviser, in Liberty Lake. Casey previously worked for Numerica Credit Union as a senior financial adviser.


Seattle-based engineering firm D’Amato Conversano Inc. PC, doing business as DCI Engineers, has promoted three individuals at its Spokane office. Chris Ferrera and Stephen Matkin have both been promoted to associate principal from associate. Holly Johnson has been promoted to associate and concurrently works as survey operations manager.


Deer Park-based Knight Wall Systems Inc. has appointed three individuals to its operations staff. Amanda Lanning has joined as supply chain manager. Lanning previously worked for Raynor Garage Door, in Dixon, Illinois, as purchasing manager. Mike Gallinger has been hired as engineering manager. Gallinger previously worked as senior design engineer for Pearson Packaging Systems. Ben Sedgwick has joined as ERP systems analyst. Sedgewick previously worked for Spokane Industries Inc. as ERP and SQL systems analyst.




Seattle-based Coffman Engineers Inc. has hired five individuals at its Spokane office. Drew Rhimer and Angelina DeMaine have both joined as drafters. Rhimer previously worked for Wagstaff Inc. as a CAD mechanical drafter. DeMaine recently graduated from Spokane Community College with an associate’s degree in architectural technology. Sam Rezakhani has been hired as a mechanical engineer. Rezakhani previously worked as commissioning project manager for Pratus Group, an environmental services firm based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Nazar Sabti has joined as senior discipline engineer. Sabti previously worked for environmental services firm Straughan Environmental Inc., in Houston, as project manager and senior civil engineer. Sarah Fox has joined as an industrial-mechanical engineer. Fox previously worked as a mechanical engineer for Metal Rollforming Systems, in Spokane.
Christine Van Winkle has been hired by Spokane Colleges as chief information officer. Van Winkle previously served Eastern Washington University as director of enterprise application services.
Coeur d’Alene-based Mountain West Bank has promoted David Brandi to vice president and portfolio manager. Brandi has worked as portfolio manager since 2019.

The Journal of Business has expanded its editorial and sales teams with two new hires. Matt Stephens has been hired as a reporter. Stephens previously worked for the Cheney Free Press as managing editor. Brandon Ware has been hired as an account executive. Ware brings 20 years of advertising and outside sales experience to the Journal.

Dana Anderson, director of corporate compliance and executive operations at Avista Corp., has been inducted into the Ragan Top Women in Communications Hall of Fame.
Erin Mitchell, CRM administrator for Spokane Colleges, has been inducted into the Liaison TargetX Rockstar Hall of Fame.
The Spokane Arts Grant Awards is funding seven proposals from 44 applicants in its first round of grantmaking for 2026. Awardees include Holy Names Music Center; Jáiz Boyd, of Birds in the Coast; Allyson Davis; Elk Soup; Stehr Guitars; Reinaldo Gil Zambrano, of RGZprints; and The Shades of Motherhood Network.
Philanthropy
Embrace Washington, a nonprofit serving children in foster care in Eastern Washington, raised more than $137,000 at its Backwoods Flannel Ball in March. The funds will be used for supportive items and services helping foster children throughout the region.
