SeaPort Airlines' Pilatus PC-12 aircraft can make the flight between Felts Field and Olympia Regional Airport in about an hour.
| Ethan PackSeaPort Airlines is launching a new seasonal route between Spokane’s Felts Field and Olympia Regional Airport starting Jan. 8, 2027, giving Eastern Washington residents another way to travel to the capital city during the state legislative session.
The route will run twice a week, on Fridays and Sundays, and takes about an hour, according to a SeaPort press release.
"Whether you're a legislator, business owner, advocate, or citizen who wants to make their voice heard, getting to Olympia will no longer require an entire day of travel,” says Kent Craford, founder and CEO of SeaPort Airlines, in the release. “We're making it possible to spend less time getting there and more time getting things done."
The new service is a collaborative effort between SeaPort Airlines and the Port of Olympia to expand regional transportation options across Washington.
“We know that every day, approximately 500 passengers, each way, are traveling between Spokane and western Washington — but this doesn’t include the travelers who are opting, often out of necessity, to drive to destinations outside the Seattle metro area, such as Olympia,” says Dave Haring, CEO of Spokane Airports, in the release. “We’re grateful for SeaPort’s continued confidence in the Spokane market and commitment to increasing accessibility to key markets for our local business community.”
The regional airline, a division of Juneau, Alaska-based Kalinin Holdings’ group of regional airlines, is pricing one-way tickets out of Felts Field at $279, the release says.
SeaPort Airlines operates a fleet of Pilatus PC-12s, which are nine-passenger, turboprop aircraft capable of traveling at 200 knots. In March, the airline began offering a weekday commercial air service from Felts Field to Boeing Field in Seattle.
The airline has flown an existing route between Seattle and Portland, Oregon, since the the company relaunched flight services in 2025 after being closed since 2016.
Kalinin Holdings operates other airlines in the Pacific Northwest, including Island Air Express, which travels between Ketchikan and Klawock, Alaska, and Alaska Seaplanes, which functions as a regional airline between 14 towns in southeast Alaska.
