New home is in works for Action Fasteners, Purfect Logos

Printing company, contract supply store plan 2020 move

July 18, 2019

Spokane-based Action Fasteners & Supply Inc. is planning to move into a new, 47,600-square-foot building under construction now that it will share with Purfect Logos LLC, of Spokane Valley, says project architect George Watson, of Watson & Herres LLC.

The new $2.9 million facility will be located at 15825 E. Trent, in Spokane Valley, on the northeast corner of Sullivan Road and Trent Avenue, just outside the 840-acre northeast industrial area designated by the city of Spokane Valley as a priority development area.

Kilgore Construction Inc., of Colbert, is the general contractor on the project, which was designed by Spokane Valley-based Watson & Herres. Storhaug Engineering Inc., of Spokane, and Seattle-based DCI Engineers, which has an office in Spokane, are the engineering firms.

Neither Action Fasteners nor Purfect Logos responded to a request for comment on the project.

Action Fasteners is a contractor supply company that was launched in 1994 in the founder’s garage and has since grown to accommodate commercial and retail customers. It currently offers over 17,000 products.

The company currently occupies about 10,000 square feet in a multitenant building at 3335 E. Trent, in Spokane, near Spokane Community College and Evco Sound & Electronics.

Purfect Logos, founded in 2014, is a screen-printing, embroidery, and signage company that serves Spokane and the Pacific Northwest. Purfect Logos currently is located at 12018 E. First, in Spokane Valley, near the Spokane Valley Heritage Museum. It has five employees, according to its website.

The two-story, pre-engineered metal building is under construction on Trent, but Watson says he’s uncertain about when construction is expected to be completed.

Information posted on a Purfect Logos’ social media page indicates the facility will be completed next year.

Action Fasteners is owned by the same team that owns aluminum castings company Travis Pattern & Foundry Inc., which occupies 170,000 square feet of space at 1413 E. Hawthorne Road, in Spokane.

At the new Valley building, Action Fasteners will occupy just under 34,000 square feet of space, according to building plans, with about 7,600 square feet dedicated to first- and second-floor office space, and about 26,300 square feet of warehouse space.

Purfect Logos will occupy just under 14,000 square feet overall, with about 6,200 square feet of space dedicated to offices on the first and second floor, and about 7,500 square feet dedicated to manufacturing space, according to site plans.

Overall occupancy for the building will be just under 230 people.

Plans show on-site improvements will include 60 parking stalls and landscaping.

The new multitenant facility will be located on just under an acre of vacant land purchased by real estate holding company C&G Properties LLC, of Spokane, in late January for $951,000, according the Spokane County Assessor’s Office.

C&G Properties, an affiliate of Travis Pattern, is also the project developer.
