The Spokane Tribe of Indians is advancing quickly on the $40 million first phase of its Spokane Tribe Casino, which is one part of its envisioned $400 million Spokane Tribe Economic Project, or STEP. San Francisco-based Swinton Builders is the general contractor on the casino project, which is located along U.S. 2, on the western edge of Airway Heights.
